Time/Date/Location: Varies (to be determined by the group)

"YOUNG ADULTS GROUP" is now called “Rooted Central Texas: WELS/ELS 20s & 30s” group. This group will aim to meet monthly for fellowship around a bible study and an activity. The plan is to rotate events around to the various WELS/ELS churches to get to know our neighbors. The "Rooted" name is based off the original Rooted WELS 20s & 30s group in Colorado that also has a Rooted chapter in Arizona.

Saturday, 10am, 3rd Saturday of each month, Holy Word Fellowship Hall

The Holy Word Maker Group’s purpose is to foster fellowship through crafting. Crafts are not just textile crafts, but can extend to cooking, woodworking, raising chickens, or other useful skills. Devotion, prayer, and bible study will also be included in the group. Both men & women are welcome to join.

Women's Book Club

Friday, 7pm, 3rd Friday of each month  Location: varies (to be determined by the group)

This book club is a fun, informal way for women to get together and share their thoughts on a variety of topics through the books that are read. Books may be secular or religious, non-fiction or fiction, classics or the newest best-seller, in any genre, but all will be discussed through a Christian’s viewpoint. Join us for Christian fun and fellowship, intellectual stimulation, a way to share ideas and insights, an opportunity to practice Christian discernment--and of course, food. The  book we will be reading for our Jan. 18 meeting is Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese. Future books will be chosen by the club's members.
